5 Mondays, 3:30-4:30 (Grades 5-12) Beginning February 1st.

It’s Joke Time! Students learn the rules of comedy, joke writing and cartooning (both single frame and multi frame with recurring characters.) Each class we’ll work on three different projects. We’ll turn an idea into a joke, discuss our jokes (like in the Writers’ Room) and we’ll make a cartoon based on kids’ ideas which they will then caption. Mind-stretching and hilariously funny!

Born and raised in New York, Guy is known for his paintings, video installations, musicals & performances. Writing in the New York Times in 2013, Roberta Smith called Guy’s work a “ …tour de force that showcases his considerable talents for satire, stand up, endurance art and painting…”
